I’m Chrissy, and I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to this little space where faith, family, and everyday life meet the transforming love of Jesus.

I’m a wife, mom to three beautiful daughters and one amazing son, and bonus mom to two incredible young men. I’m also “Nona” to two sweet little ones who make my heart overflow. Most of our six kids have grown up and moved out, so the house is a little quieter these days, but it’s still full of love, laughter, and the joy of family.

My faith story started when I was young. I loved God early on, but like many of us, I had seasons of drifting. What I’ll never forget, though, is the moment He first called me. I was sitting in church when He gave me a vision in my heart: I saw myself standing behind a pulpit with a Bible in hand, teaching His Word. It was simple, but it was powerful. That vision never left me, and it’s the reason I’m here today.

Over the years, I’ve had ups and downs in walking out that calling, but one thing has remained true - God has never stopped pursuing me. His grace has carried me through, and today I’m more passionate than ever about teaching His Word and encouraging women to grow deeper in their faith.

That’s why I created Rooted in Faith. This isn’t just a blog. It’s a place for women to gather, to be encouraged, and to be reminded that life with Jesus is the most beautiful adventure we’ll ever take.
